Sock Monkey's Rock

I was asked to use some custom colors and fibres for these monkeys and I just LOVE how they turned out... The Mohawk was made out of 100% wool roving, so I spun some matching yarn (out of same fibre using   my drop spindle) to be able to crochet it as well as add this color to the hat braids.

Over 20 years ago my grandma was teaching me how to knit, and this headband was our mutual project that she brought to me from her youth... We had lots of fum making them together... So many years behind now, and thinking of my grandma I decided to renew this old design...
